This month we discuss the old saying you are what you eat. We talk about the importance of healthy choices when it comes to food, as well as the activities we choose to participate in. In comparing our bodies to cars we learn that fuel is a vital part of being able to go, but our fuel comes in the form of food, drink, exercise, and sleep. Eating well and being active go hand in hand in working toward making us feel great!
Now that we understand what moves us, we need to know how to go safely. During the second half of May, our Preschoolers look around them to discover a world of signs. What do they mean and why are they important? Understanding signs and being directed by them is lots of fun in our classroom!
