Taking Care of Our Home

During the month of March we at Grovedale Preschool learned about our many wonderful homes. We call our house a home, but the town our house was built in is also considered our home.  In fact, we have many homes!

           4.  Country
           5.  Continent
           6.  Planet




Because we love our homes so much we realized the importance of caring for them, just as we care for the people we love.  One way to do that is through the three R's...

Reduce     Reuse     Recycle

With the help of our peek-a-boo box we learned how to check whether or not items can be recycled by looking for the recycle symbol.  When things cannot be recycled, we discussed other options for getting rid of things around our homes such as composting, donating to charity, or crafting things into something new!
